The Promise Land Ranch raises horses and sheep. Our baby horses are Quarterhorse/Arabs crossed with black and white paints. Our sheep are the endangered Navajo Churro breed. All baby horses have been through imprint training. They enjoy and respect their human owners.

People
This is not a huge ranch that exists to turn over a profit. We are a family owned "mini-ranch." We enjoy doing our own chores and most of our own training. Linda is a teacher by profession and she finds teaching young horses and teaching students both rewarding. Tom brings to the ranch his own business management experience as well as his knowledge of training horses. Together we meet the needs of our animals and strive to match their needs to those of prospective owners.

We bring a combined 50 years of experience working with horses and 18 years breeding sheep. We began raising these animals for our own enjoyment. It is our hope that our customers will find working with their own lambs rewarding as well. In addition a nature camp "SAM* Camp" is available in June for children who want to study nature on the prairie.
